Hmong Traditional New Year

Hmong is a hilltribe people, origially from China. They annually have a traditional new year festival, which is usually held during  Dec 28 - Jan 7. It is time for young people to know one another and reunion during this time. In the festival, young people, especially boys and girls, will throw a ball to each other like throwing snow to each other but in a more gentle way.  You will see hmong people wear new traditional clothes to celebrate the new year.
